The complex is located just north of Suffern, in Torne Valley.

Take the New York State Thruway (I-87) going West & North from Spring Valley.

Take Exit 15A - Suffern, Sloatsburg, and turn Right at the bottom of the ramp. You will be on Orange Turnpike heading South.

After only a short distance (approx. 3/4 mile), you will cross over railroad tracks and you will take the first left onto Torne Valley Road (directly across the street from Frank's Auto Body, and next to Fireplaces by Design). The complex is on Torne Valley Road on your left after a short distance (approx. 3/4 mile).

Take the New York State Thruway (I-87) going North towards Albany, NY. Continue past Albany going West towards Syracuse.

New York State Thruway travelers should exit at Interstate 81 (Thruway Exit 36) and proceed south. Both northbound and southbound travelers on Interstate 81 should exit at Adams Street (Exit 18.) Continue up the Adams Street hill to the third traffic light. Cross University Avenue and turn left into the University Avenue Garage. Arlington High School is located in LaGrangeville, in Dutchess County.

Take the New York State Thruway (I-87) going West & North from Spring Valley. Take Exit 17 Newburgh, use the toll plaza that leads to I-84. Take I-84 East. You will cross the Hudson River, traveling about 9 miles.

Take the exit to Route 9 North, and then go about 9 miles North to Spackenkill Road. Take a right onto Spackenkill Road (113). The road becomes New Hackensack Road. Turn left at Red Oaks Mill Road.

When Red Oaks Mill Road ends, take a right onto County Road 49/Titusville Road. When that road ends at Route 55, take a right onto Route 55. On the left hand side is the school.

An alternative route would be to go up the Taconic State Parkway (cars only), since the Arlington High School is conveniently very close to the Parkway. To get to the Taconic, you can access it from the New York State Thruway (I-87) by crossing the Tappan Zee Bridge heading South/East. After toll plaza, keep to the right and look for exit that leads to Saw Mill Parkway going North. Take Saw Mill Parkway North until the intersection for the Taconic. Also, the Taconic is accessible from I-84 as well.

From the Taconic State Parkway, you would take Route 55 West for about 1/2 mile, the school will be on your left.

Walter G. O'Connell High School is located on Dixon Avenue, one-half mile south of Sunrise Highway on Long Island. The school is on your right.

Alternatively, take any eastbound highways to Route 110: Exit 49 off of Long Island Expressway, or Exit 32 off of Southern State Parkway, or Route 27 (Sunrise Highway).

Proceed south on Route 110 until you take a left onto Dixon Avenue. Then continue over Great Neck Road. The school will be on your left.

Take New York State Thruway North for about 120 miles. Merge onto I-90W. Then take exit 25 to merge onto I-890 W towards NY-7/NY-146/Schenectady.

Take exit 9 for Curry Rd toward NY-7 W/NY-146. Turn right onto NY-7 W/Curry Rd.

On the left side is the entrance.

Take the New York State Thruway (I-87) going East from Spring Valley, and cross over the Hudson on the Tappan Zee Bridge. Continue South on the Thruway.

Take the Yonkers' Tuckahoe Road West exit. Proceed westward as the road becomes Saw Mill River Road (New York 9A).

At Palmer Road, turn left (about 1 mile from the Thruway exit). You will pass under the Saw Mill River Parkway, and you will see the school on your left. Limited parking is available in the front of the school.

To follow the school buses, continue on Palmer Road until you come to Fortfield Ave. Turn left on Fortfield Ave. and take the third left onto Jessamine Ave. Jessamine Ave. ends at the back of the school, and there is some parking available.

Cars can take Palisades Parkway north, and then take Bear Mountain Bridge, then turn right after the bridge over to Route 9. Go South through Peekskill, and then use "From the North" directions.

Alternative: take Tappan Zee Bridge and then proceed north on Route 9. Use "From the South" directions.

FROM THE NORTH: Rte. 9 S to Welcher Ave./Buchanan exit. At light off exit ramp go straight, stay in left lane. Continue through 2 more lights. School is on your right on hill. (Approx. 1 mile from the exit ramp). FROM THE SOUTH: Route 9 N to the Montrose/Buchanan exit. Off exit ramp at light, turn left onto Albany Post Road. Continue through 6 traffic lights. After that light school in on left up on a hill. (Approx. 2 miles from the exit ramp).
